The Datalogic TLu-011, also listed as TLµ-011 or TLU011, is a contrast sensor from the TLµ series. It detects print marks and register marks by the difference in brightness or colour between the mark and the background. It is one of the most common mark readers on packaging, printing and labelling machines in India.

Where the TLu-011 is used
The TLu-011 is popular on vertical and horizontal form-fill-seal machines, pouch-making machines and label printers. Its metal housing survives vibration and knocks better than plastic sensors, which is useful on older or heavy machines.
TLu-011 or TLu-115?
Both share the same optics and housing size. The difference is the output and connection:
